Testimony of Deliverance

Testimony of Deliverance

Psalm 116:1

“I love the Lord because He has heard my voice
and my supplications.”

I feel the same as the Apostle Paul who said in Philippians 1:21, “For me to live is Christ and to die is gain .“

Jesus is my reason for living. He is my All in All. It is only because of the great mercy of God that I am alive.

For seven years I lived in Satanic bondage. One day as I was walking home from school, at the age of twelve years old, I felt a supernatural power taking control of my mind. A voice spoke to me telling me to hurt myself physically. I felt as if another person was inside of me speaking to me and trying to destroy me. In obedience to this voice I did such things as swallow sewing needles, razor blades, metal objects, and the tops to the soda cans.

On one occasion after having been operated on to remove a sewing needle from my stomach, and I was in intensive care, I tore the IV needle out of my arm and swallowed it, having to return to the operating room. After six weeks in the state psychiatric hospital I was given a very dismal prognosis.

Even after intense psychotherapy, electric shock treatments, and hypnosis I was worse.

In my first year of high school I began to inflict injury on my right leg hammering sewing needles into the knee joint. After six operations on my knee I developed osteomylitis, a bone disease. When I wasn’t hammering needles into my knee I was cutting myself or beating my arms and legs with a hammer. Even in my dreams this voice would frighten me by telling me how to hurt myself and parading weird faces in front of me scaring me and tormenting me. My life seemed like one long tunnel of unending darkness. I lived in constant depression and turmoil.

During these years of bondage, there was a Christian neighbor who lived next to us who prayed for me and I believe she was strategically placed there by God.

One day she invited me to a meeting in someone’s home. For me it was a change of pace from my very boring life, but God had a more important purpose.

At this meeting my attention was focused on a woman, Nancy Stein, who was leading the group. She had peace and joy that caused her face to light up with a beautiful smile. I asked myself, “What is it that this woman has that I don’t have?” My life was so miserable and sad because of my bondage.

God saw my desperate condition and I thank God for using this woman to bring me he message of hope and deliverance that I needed. She wasn’t a doctor or psychiatrist but she had the answer that no one else seemed to have. She told me that this voice that was speaking to me was the devil and he wanted to destroy my life. But she said if I would repent of my sins and surrender my life to Jesus Christ, He would set me free and give me a new life.

When she prayed for me I felt as if a very heavy weight was lifted off me. A new life began as it says in the Bible:

II Corinthians 5:17

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new.”

Not only did Christ save me making me new but He called me to preach His Word.

Holly Noe Ministries expanded it’s vision and became bilingual through a miracle that happened while ministering in the Dominican Republic; My translator left me and God gave me the ability to preach in Spanish without ever having studied it. Since that miracle our ministry has embraced ministry in Latin America.
